Michael Moore's Week Ahead Monday 8 - Saturday 13 March 2010

Here are some highlights of what I am doing this week:

'On Monday morning, I will meet with constituents before visiting the market in Newtown St Boswells. Later, I will travel down to London for the start of the Parliamentary week.

'On Tuesday, I will be working on urgent casework issues before meetings in my capacity as Liberal Democrat spokesman on development issues.

'On Wednesday morning, I will meet with constituents from Kelso who are visiting London before Prime Ministers Questions in the chamber. In the afternoon, my Liberal Democrat colleague Sir Alan Beith and I will meet with Chris Mole MP, Minister at the Department for Transport, to discuss the future of rail services on the East Coast Main Line.

'On Friday, I will meet with the Director of Swans and then other representatives of the local business community to discuss issues affecting their businesses .

My surgeries on Friday this week will be at Victoria Hall in Selkirk between 3.00 and 4.00pm, and Old Gala House in Galashiels between 4.30 and 5.30pm.

'On Saturday I will be meeting constituents in Hawick before watching Scotland break their run of bad luck and regain the Calcutta Cup!'
