Scotland needs to compete in the global marketplace. We think that it's crucial to develop a dynamic economy in Scotland with lower business rates, more emphasis on innovation and the right infrastructure in place.

Climate change is the biggest threat facing our generation. That's why we think it's so important to invest in clean, green, safe, renewable energy, increase our recycling rates and protect our natural environment.

Scotland's health is improving but we think there's lots to do to make Scotland healthier. That's why we are determined to invest in local health facilities, health promotion and exercise.

We're passionate about empowering people and communities to unlock the creativity, energy and enthusiasm of people in communities across Scotland. We think people can be trusted to improve their communities.

We think Scotland can be safer

Crime is down in Scotland but there's more to do to make our streets safer. That's why we think it's important to invest in more police in our communities, tougher community sentences and to tackle offending.
